Teatteri Union

Teatteri Union is a multidisciplinary arts venue in the center of Helsinki. It’s an old cinema theatre originally built in 1924. Teatteri Union’s program includes visual performing arts, audio visual shows and all kinds of cinema. WHS also offers residency and rehearsal possibilities for selected artists. In connection to the theatre space, WHS also runs Unika, a gallery and project space for artistic research, smaller scale performances and visual arts in all its forms.

WHS and its work with Teatteri Union has been awarded with State Award for Multidisciplinary Art and Helsinki Cultural Prize.
